Frederick John Robinson, Viscount Goderich, was the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1827 to 1828.

He was born on August 29, 1782 in London, England.

He attended Eton College from 1792 to 1797 and Christ Church, Oxford from 1797 to 1800.

He was elected to the House of Commons in 1806, and served as Secretary of War and the Colonies from 1809 to 1812.

Robinson was appointed First Lord of the Treasury and Chancellor of the Exchequer in 1823, and then Prime Minister in 1827.

He resigned from the position of Prime Minister in 1828 and was created Viscount Goderich in 1833.

He later served as Lord High Steward at the coronation of Queen Victoria in 1838.
