Their wedding was watched by an estimated global audience of 750 million people.
The Royal Family spent a reported £2.6 million on the wedding, which included a 25-foot train for Diana’s dress and a six-tiered wedding cake.
Diana and Charles had two sons together - Prince William, Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex.
The couple divorced in 1996, but Diana remained a beloved figure until her tragic death in 1997.
In 2017, to mark the 20th anniversary of Diana’s death, her sons organized a memorial service at the same church where she married Charles.
