He is often referred to as "China's Warren Buffett" due to his keen business acumen.
He graduated from Fudan University in Shanghai with a bachelor's degree in sociology in 1989.
In 1992, he founded Fosun International, which is now one of China's largest conglomerates.
He has used his business acumen to make Fosun a major player in the Chinese economy.
In 2017, Fosun was named the most innovative company in China by the World Economic Forum.
Guo has also been recognized as one of the most influential people in the world by Time Magazine.
