Bwindi Impenetrable National Park was established in 1991 in Uganda.

The park is home to over 400 species of birds, 220 species of butterfly, and around 120 species of mammal.

It is most famous as a key habitat for half of the world's endangered mountain gorillas.

The park is known for its incredibly diverse flora and fauna, with over 1,000 flowering plant species, including 163 species of trees and 104 species of ferns.

The best time to visit the park is between June and September, when the weather is usually mild.

The park is also home to the critically endangered African Golden Cat and African Elephant.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
