Mikumi National Park was established in 1964 in Tanzania.

It is a great spot to observe the African wildlife such as elephants, lions, zebras, buffalos, wildebeests, and giraffes.

The best time to visit is during the dry season (June - October) when the vegetation is sparse and animals can be seen more easily.

It is also home to some endangered species such as the African Wild Dog and the Greater Kudu.

The park offers spectacular views of the Udzungwa Mountains, which are part of the Eastern Arc Mountains.

Park is also known for its diverse plant life, with more than 400 species of plants that are endemic to the area.

It is the only place in Tanzania where you can observe the Greater Kudu, which is an antelope species that is listed as vulnerable.
