Bajirao I was a prominent Maratha warrior and ruler under the rule of the Peshwas of the Maratha Empire.
He was born in 1720 and was known for his military prowess and leadership skills.
In 1737, Bajirao I led a successful campaign against Mughal forces in Delhi and captured the city.
This victory enabled the Maratha Empire to expand eastwards and become one of the most powerful empires in India.
Bajirao I also conquered Malwa and Gujarat, which further increased the influence of the Maratha Empire.
