Adi Godrej, born in 1942, is an Indian entrepreneur and the Chairman of the Godrej Group.

He completed his Bachelor's degree in Science from HR College in Mumbai, and subsequently obtained a Masters degree in Management from the University of Pittsburgh.

Under Adi's leadership, the Godrej Group has grown to become one of India's largest conglomerates with business interests in various sectors such as real estate, consumer products, industrial engineering, furniture, appliances, security, and agri-care.

Adi has also been involved in many philanthropic activities. He serves on the board of trustees of the Bombay Natural History Society and is a member of the Indian Prime Minister's Council on Trade and Industry.

Adi has received numerous awards in recognition of his entrepreneurial and philanthropic work, including the Padma Bhushan, the third-highest civilian award in India, in 2000 and the "Legion of Honour" by the French Government in 2007.
