Baba Kalyani, born in 1949, is an Indian Entrepreneur and the Chairman and Managing Director of Bharat Forge Ltd.

Kalyani founded Bharat Forge Ltd., one of Asia's leading forging companies, in 1982.

Kalyani has over 40 years of experience in the automotive, forging and steel industry.

He has been credited with transforming Bharat Forge Ltd. into a global leader in the automotive forging industry.

Kalyani is a recipient of Padma Bhushan, India's third highest civilian award, for his contribution to the automotive industry.

He is a member of the Prime Minister's Council on Trade & Industry and a member of the National Manufacturing Competitiveness Council.

Kalyani serves as a director on several boards, including the International Institute for Strategic Studies, London.
