Brijmohan Lall Munjal was an Indian Entrepreneur born in 1923.

He was the founder of Hero MotoCorp, the world's largest two-wheeler manufacturing company.

Munjal was born in Kamalia, Punjab, India in 1923 and graduated from National College in Lahore in 1942.

He set up a bicycle spare parts business in Amritsar in 1944 which eventually led to the founding of Hero Cycles in 1956.

During his lifetime, Munjal was a recipient of several awards, including the Padma Bhushan, the third highest civilian award in India.

He was also declared the 'Businessman of the Year' by the Economic Times in 1996.

Munjal passed away in November 2015 at the age of 92 after a long and successful career as an entrepreneur.
