Naveen Jindal was born in 1970 in Hisar, India.

He is an Indian entrepreneur, former politician, and industrialist.

He is the Chairman of Jindal Steel and Power Limited and the founding Chairman of Jindal Global University.

Jindal studied at the University of Texas at Dallas, where he earned an MBA in International Business and a bachelor's in commerce.

In 2004, Jindal was elected to the 14th Lok Sabha from Kurukshetra, and he served as a Member of Parliament for five years.

In 2011, Jindal was awarded the “Global Leadership Award” by the US-India Business Council.

Jindal is the recipient of the Padma Bhushan, the third-highest civilian award of India, for his distinguished services in trade and industry in 2019.
