Rahul Bajaj was born in 1938 in India.

He is an Indian entrepreneur and chairman of the Bajaj group.

Bajaj Auto, a part of the Bajaj group, is one of the largest two-wheeler and three-wheeler manufacturers in India.

He has been awarded the Padma Bhushan, the third-highest civilian award in India, as well as other awards for his contributions to the Indian economy.

Bajaj was the first Indian to be awarded the Order of the Rising Sun, Japan's highest civilian honor, in 2005.

He is a philanthropist and has set up the Bajaj Institute of Technology in Pune, India.

He is a highly respected businessman in India and was the president of the Confederation of Indian Industry from 2001 to 2002.
