S.D. Shibulal (born 1955) is an Indian entrepreneur and philanthropist, best known as the co-founder of Infosys.

He studied physics and completed his Master's degree in 1977 at University of Kerala, India.

In 1981, he co-founded Infosys, and served as the company's CEO and Managing Director from 2011-2014.

During his tenure, Shibulal was responsible for creating the innovative business strategy that propelled Infosys to success.

In addition to his work at Infosys, Shibulal is also an active philanthropist and has been involved in various social initiatives in India.

In 2012, he founded the S. D. Shibulal Foundation, which works to improve education, health, and the environment in India.

Shibulal has received numerous recognitions, including the Padma Bhushan award in 2014.
