He is an Indian entrepreneur, best known for being the founder and Chairman of Indiabulls Group.

He is also the founder of Indiabulls Housing Finance - a leading housing finance company.

He established Indiabulls Group in 1999, and it has grown to become one of India's largest conglomerates.

In 2012, Sameer Gehlaut was included in the Forbes India Rich List at rank #14, making him one of the top 15 wealthiest Indians.

He was also named among the 100 most influential people in India by the Asian Wall Street Journal in 2014.

Sameer Gehlaut has been awarded the Business Leader of the Year award by Business Today magazine in 2017.
