Venu Srinivasan was born in 1952, in Chennai, India.

He is a renowned Indian entrepreneur and chairman of the TVS Motor Company.

He attended Loyola College and graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1974.

He then went on to obtain his Master’s Degree in Business Administration from IIM, Ahmedabad in 1976.

In 1979, he joined the TVS Group, founded by his grandfather, and was appointed Chairman of TVS Motor Company in 1989.

Under his leadership, the company has grown to become India’s third-largest two-wheeler manufacturer.

In addition to his work with TVS Motor Company, he also serves as President of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and is Chairman of the Finance Committee of the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
