Located in Arunachal Pradesh, Namdapha National Park is one of India's premier protected areas.
It is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna, including rare and endangered species such as the snow leopard, red panda and white-winged wood duck.
The park is renowned for its diversity of habitats, ranging from tropical evergreen forests to alpine meadows and snow-capped peaks.
It is also the home to four distinct tribes - the Apa Tani, Nocte, Wancho and Tangsa - each with their own unique culture and traditions.
The park is great for trekking and wildlife safaris, with the best time to visit being between October and April.
Birdwatchers will find a variety of species here, including the rare and endangered Blyth's Tragopan.
Namdapha National Park is also an important archaeological site, with the ruins of a fort from the 16th century discovered here.
