Ranthambore National Park, located in the state of Rajasthan, is one of India’s most popular tiger reserves.
It was established in 1980 as a Project Tiger Reserve and is known for its stunning landscape, abundant wildlife and ancient fort.
Home to a variety of animals, including leopards, hyenas, crocodiles, sloth bears, wild boars and several species of birds, it is a great spot for nature lovers.
The best time to visit is between October and April, when the weather is cooler and the animals can be more easily seen.
The park is home to the 10th-century Ranthambore Fort, which is a popular tourist attraction.
Visitors can also take a jeep safari to explore the park, where they may be lucky enough to spot a tiger.
Ranthambore is also known for its large population of marsh crocodiles, which can be found near the lake.
