Singalila National Park is located in the northern part of West Bengal, India.
The park is a paradise for trekkers, with its high altitude, steep terrain and magnificent views of the Himalayas.
It is home to some of India’s most endangered species, including the red panda, tahr and musk deer.
The park was established in 1986 and is currently managed by the West Bengal Forest Department.
The best time to visit the park is from mid-October to mid-March when the weather is generally mild and clear.
The park is a popular spot for bird watching with over 450 species of birds recorded.
Other attractions in the park include the Sandakphu peak, the Neora Valley, and the Singalila Ridge.
