Valmiki National Park is located in the state of Bihar, India and was established in 1989.
It is spread across an area of 880 sq km and is the only tiger reserve in the state.
The park is home to many species of animals such as the tiger, leopard, wild boar and the endangered Hispid hare.
It is also home to over 300 species of birds like the Paradise Flycatcher, Black Stork and Asian Openbill.
The best time to visit the park is between November and April when the weather is cooler.
The park also has an eco-tourism centre which offers visitors the chance to explore the park in an educational way.
