Jack Dorsey is an American entrepreneur born in 1976.

He is most well known for co-founding the popular social media platform Twitter in 2006.

Prior to Twitter, he created the dispatch management application "mobilizing" in 2000.

He also co-founded the payment processing company Square in 2009.

After leaving Twitter in 2008, he returned as CEO in 2015.

He continues to hold the position of Executive Chairman at Twitter and is also the CEO of Square.

In 2020, he was named one of TIME Magazine's 100 most influential people.
