Joe Gebbia is an American entrepreneur born in 1981.

He is the co-founder and Chief Product Officer of Airbnb, a hospitality service that provides short-term lodging.

He attended the Rhode Island School of Design, where he studied industrial design.

He then worked with the design firm IDEO for two years before being accepted into the Rhode Island School of Design's Graduate Program.

He formed Airbnb with two of his friends in 2008, with the goal of providing short-term lodging to travelers in need.

Airbnb has since become a global phenomenon, with more than 4 million listings in over 81,000 cities worldwide.

Gebbia has been featured in various publications, including Time Magazine, which named him one of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2016.
