He is the owner of the NBA's Dallas Mavericks, chairman of AXS TV and co-owner of 2929 Entertainment.

Cuban was one of the first investors in the streaming media company Broadcast.com, which he sold to Yahoo! in 1999 for $5.7 billion.

Cuban has been part of the main cast of the American reality television series Shark Tank since its ninth season in 2018.

He has also authored two books, How to Win at the Sport of Business and The Landlord.

Cuban has been a major donor to Democratic candidates and organizations, contributing over $1 million to various Democratic candidates.

Cuban has also made several multi-million dollar donations to various charities, including the Mavs Foundation and Urban Cure.
