The Monument covers almost 210,000 acres of rugged canyons and arid desert lands and is one of the most amazing outdoor destinations in the United States.
The Monument is home to a great variety of wildlife, including a vast array of wildflowers, deer, elk, and golden eagles.
The Monument offers many different recreational activities, such as hiking, camping, and whitewater rafting.
The Monument is home to the world’s largest concentration of dinosaur fossils, with over 1,500 individual specimens.
The Monument is also home to numerous prehistoric archaeological sites, including rock art, petroglyphs, and ancient dwellings.
From March through November, visitors can take part in ranger-guided tours of the fossil beds and prehistoric archaeological sites.
