A project manager ensures that, a project can finish on time and within budget, and with the desired quality, they manage project scope, resources and timelines
A product manager will focus on the needs of the customer and relays them to the product team, they will do market research and competitive analysis
A project manager will focus on the needs of the project stakeholders, they will create schedule, determine resources and manage budget
A product manager will measure AARRR, A five-step product metrics for user acquisition, activation, retention, referral, and revenue
A project manager will measure and track start date, end date, percent completion, budget, issues, risks and so on
A product manager sets the vision and a project manager executes on that vision
Both may not have direct reports but need to influence without authority
