What is Kanban? How is it different from Scrum?

Kanban means a visual board with a set of tasks

It is a framework used to implement agile software development

Agile is a structured and iterative approach to product development

In Kanban, Work items are represented visually on a board and can be grouped by To Do, In Progress and Done status

It allows team members to see the state of every piece of work at any time.

Kanban delivers tasks continuously until the project is finished

Scrum teams commit to completing an increment of work, through set time intervals called sprints

Scrum needs at least 3 roles Product Owner, Scrum Master, and the Development Team, Kanban has no structured roles

Scrum is done by time-boxed in sprints, whereas Kanban is event driven.
